So Joe gave me call and said that Eric Porter and Phil Sunbaum were going to be in Greenville riding The Unit. He asked if I wanted to go. Dumb question, yes. We showed up and no one was there. A really big wood take off to a dirt landing was in front with a picknick table on the side that made a hip. So we rode the hip contraption until the guys showed up. Once there a session was brewing. Colin Mackay was present with his twenty and shredding so smooth and blasting airs everywhere. I was stoked on my brakeless 26 and learned a few new moves. Eric Porter hand planted that double coping spine. Riding the place smooth, Joe Haley blasted some inverts on the hip. The man of the day was Phil for sure. That guy whips his 26 around like it's a 16. It was awesome to see him shred the Unit. After a full day of riding we said our good byes and headed back to Raleigh. I can't wait for the next time!
